Marilyn G. (Bratton) Gottshall, 88, of Garden Heights, passed away Thursday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Peterman) Bratton. She married Paul Gottshall, who preceded her in death in 1994 after sharing 39 years of marriage.
Surviving are a daughter, Vicki Malone and husband Jeff of Altoona; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; and siblings: Nancie Alexander, Clara Ferguson, and William Bratton. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Aungst, and a brother, Joseph Jr.
She attended Altoona High School and was a homemaker.
Marilyn was a life member of the former Garden Heights UMC, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting the ocean.
