Mary P. (Jennings) Codd

Mary P. (Jennings) Codd, 86, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday at Maybrook Hills.  She was born in Williamsport, daughter of the late Orlan V. and Ethel S. (Gill) Jennings.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Henry W. Codd Sr.; two sons: Henry Jr. (Kim), and Bradford (Heather); four grandchildren: Parker, Zoe, Naomi, and Shayna.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Mary graduated from Williamsport HS in 1957 and Lycoming College in 1960 with a BS in Education.

She retired as an elementary school teacher after 35 years in Williamsport and Hollidaysburg School District.

Mary was a member of the Hollidaysburg Women’s Club and St. Michael Church, Hollidaysburg.        

She loved cats and was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing with her many friends.
