Mary Jane (Barroner) Cooper

Mary Jane (Barroner) Cooper, 82, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Endress) Barroner.  She married Richard P. Cooper Sr., who preceded her in death in 2009, after sharing 49 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Theresa L. Keith and husband Ronnie of Martinsburg; a son, Richard P. Jr., of Hollidaysburg; five grandchildren and two step-grandsons; a great-grandson and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Tracy and Jim; and 8 siblings.

Mary Jane was a life member of First United Methodist Church, Hollidaysburg.          

She enjoyed children, handing out cookies for the neighborhood children, and doing crafts.

Friends will be received from 1 to 5pm Wednesday October 9, 2024 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 10am Thursday.

Private interment at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
