Mary T. (Glunt) Longenecker

Mary T. (Glunt) Longenecker, 59, of Queen, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona.  She was born in Altoona, daughter of Gladys (Kelly) and the late Loris Glunt.  She married Charles E. Longenecker in 1979.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years; a daughter, Lindsey of Queen; a step-son, Charles in NC; four grandchildren: Jonah, Evie, Amelia, and Caiden; her mother of Newry; a sister, Elizabeth Long of Altoona; brothers: Paul of East Freedom, James of Duncansville, Bill of Newry, Charles of Newry, and Christopher Glunt, of Queen.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy in 2011.  She was a machine operator at H.H. Brown Shoe Company and enjoyed boating, fishing, shooting pool, and bowling.

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.  A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment at Alto Reste Park.
