Mary F. (McCale) McMaster

June 30, 1951 – Oct 21, 2025 

Mary F. (McCale) McMaster, 74, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. 

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert and Ellen (Rooney) McCale.  She married James “Bill” McMaster, who preceded her in death in 2024 after sharing 44 years of marriage. 

Surviving are a daughter, Dawn of Altoona; a son, Chris Marlett of Carlisle; and three grandchildren: Caden, Ali, and Megan. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis McCale in 2020. 

Mary retired as a CNA. 

She loved dancing, shopping, listening to live music and going to the beach. 

Friends will be received from 2-4pm on Friday Oct 31, 2025 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 4pm.
