Mary Ann Settle,69, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday at Graystone Manor -Bellmeade. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas W. and Marie R. (Hamberger) Settle.
She is survived by a brother, Robert T. Settle Sr. and his wife, Ruth; a nephew, Robert T. Settle Jr. and his wife, Katharine; and a grand-niece, Lidia.
She was preceded in death by an aunt, Helen Hamberger; a niece, Cara Ann Settle; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School and received a B.S. and a M.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She worked for the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 for 35 years as a speech therapist.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, September 27, 2021, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Fr. Alan E. Thomas, Celebrant. Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery, Northern Cambria.
