July 12, 1949 – Jan 28, 2023

M. Ray Snyder, 73, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Melvin and Arlene (Woolridge) Snyder. He married Kathy Robertson in 1970.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years; a daughter, Melissa and husband, Marc of Hollidaysburg; a son, Michael and wife, Pam of Duncansville; seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and a sister, Nancy Claar and husband, Gary.

Ray graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1967 and earned an associate degree from Penn State Altoona. He served in the US Navy and retired from F.L. Smithe as a machine designer.

Ray was a member of Grace Family Bible Church where he formerly served as a Deacon and enjoyed mowing the grass.

He loved hunting and watching Penn State and Steelers football.

A memorial service will be held March 4, 2023, 11:00 am, at Grace Family Bible Church, with Pastor James Zaebst officiating.
