Michael D. Reed

Michael D. Reed, 59, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at his residence.  He was born in Altoona, son of E. Joan (Fitzgerald) and the late William H. Reed.  He married Karen Wolfe in 1996.

Surviving are his wife of 24 years; two daughters: Angie Mastroianni and husband Jimmy of Trafford, and Jessica Reed of Claysburg; a son, Christopher of Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren: Haileigh, Kainen, Kaya, Angelo, Mia, Loveya, Jax; his mother of Altoona; and a sister, Michele DeVecchis and husband Philip of Altoona.

Mike graduated from Altoona Area High school in 1979 and was self employed as a carpenter. He loved fishing, canoeing, camping, and airplanes.

Friends will be received from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 8:00 pm, Reverend Fred E. Hickok presiding.

Interment at Alto Reste Park.
