Michele Roland

Michele Roland, 58, of Germantown, entered God's Kingdom on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at home. Michele was born November 23, 1966, in Altoona, Pa. She was the daughter of Ronald and Patricia Bell, who preceded her in death. 

She is survived by her daughter:  Alexandra Roland, a sister Cheryl and her husband Edward Yatta, an aunt, Yvonne Buckreise and many cousins. As well as special friends, Charlene and Jeff Ruso, and Susan Stacey,

Michele was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. When her health was better, she enjoyed volunteering in the church office. 

Michele graduated from Penn State University with a degree in liberal arts. She also graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she studied photography. 

Her most recent job was a STEM robotics instructor, in which she worked with children and enjoyed it immensely. 

She enjoyed going out to dinner with “the ladies “, reading, writing, and water aerobics. 

Her biggest joy in life was her daughter Allie, whom she loved and was so very proud of. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 18th, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Gaithersburg, MD. Reverend Dave A. Sonnenberg Jr. officiating.
