Nina L. Crum

July 3, 1945 – Aug 8, 2024

Nina L. Crum, 79, of Altoona passed away Thursday at Encompass Health. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and June (Wright) Crum.

Surviving are two sons: Jeremy Farabaugh (Tessa) and Joe Thomas (Heather); two grandchildren: Allana Thomas and Ethan Farabaugh; three step-grandchildren: Kayen and Kamden Dejesus, and Kayla Chilcote; two great-grandchildren: Roman and Charlie Barger; two sisters: Sharon Crum and Lunda Miller; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Elsie Hackman and family.

She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Miller.

Nina was a 1963 graduate from Triangle Area High School and a graduate of Altoona School of Commerce. She worked at Valley View Hospital.

She was a member of Center City Church.

Nina loved crocheting and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

A memorial dinner will be held at the convenience of the family.
