Norma Jean (Yoder) Slavin, 80, of Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Cumberland MD, daughter of the late Norman and Virginia (Goetz) Yoder. She married Michael Slavin.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years; two daughters: Michelle Speicher and husband, Michael, and Kassie Warrington and husband, Michael, all in DE; a son, Patrick Slavin and wife, Terri in Pittsburgh; five grandchildren: Meghan, Matthew, Chase, Kaden, and Cooper; a brother, Dan Yoder and wife, Kate in VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Norma worked for Butterick Co. for 35 years. Always with a smile and a laugh, she loved spending time with and sending cards to her friends and family.
Friends will be received from 10am to 12pm Tuesday November 21, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm.
Private interment at New St. Mary Cemetery.
