Paul E. Singer Sr., 80, of Hollidaysburg passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald Sr. and Luella (Rudasill) Singer. He married Assumptia “Sue” Chamberlain, who preceded him in death in 2023 after sharing 57 years of marriage.
Surviving are two daughters: Becky Daus (Charles) and Mandi Robertson (Bip); two sons: Paul Jr. (Julie) and Eric (Tammy); nine grandchildren: Zachary, Casey, Brandon, Jada, Samantha, Jessica, Michael, Kevin, and Shannon; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Ralph and Joel.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Terry, Don, and Tim, and his dog, Cracker.
Paul was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He served in the US Airforce for four years, working as a photographer.
He retired from the Altoona Mirror photo desk after 40 years.
Paul enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
