Paul R. Weierick, 61 of Altoona, passed away Wednesday, after a lifelong battle with diabetes. He was born in Altoona, son of Betty (Lantz) and the late Clarence W. Weierick. Paul married Jeanne Beers in 1983. Surviving are his wife of 37 years; two sisters: Elaine Wise (Tom) and Louann Loechner (Tom); and his mother, Betty Weierick of Altoona. Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne.
He was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School and worked at McClanahan’s as a machinist. Paul enjoyed hunting.
