Peter S. Jones, 43, of Altoona, passed away in Philadelphia. He was born in South Korea, son of Pastor Myron and Bonnie (Smith) Jones.
Surviving are his parents of Altoona; a sister, Kristen Kelly in NY; a brother, Jonathan Jones and wife Jami of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
He graduated from South Williamsport High School and attended Waynesburg College. Peter worked in food service and most recently, Blair Image Elements and Corle Building Systems.
He enjoyed volunteering with the PA Prison Society prison reform program.
Friends will be received from 10am-12pm on Friday Sept 16, 2022 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc, Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 12pm with Pastor Grace Marie Ransom officiating.
