Ralph J. Albarano Jr.

July 2, 1947 – July 11, 2025

Ralph J. Albarano Jr., 78, of Duncansville, passed away Friday.  He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Ralph Sr. and Serena (West) Albarano.  He married Nona Hilling in 1969.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years; a daughter, Melissa Vyborny and husband, John of Hollidaysburg; a son, Ralph III and wife Jodie of Hollidaysburg; and six grandchildren: Jack, Kara, Dominic, Ralph IV (Jay), Vince, and Andrew.

Ralph graduated from BGHS in 1965, served as a Captain in the USMC during Vietnam, and was owner and president of Ralph J. Albarano & Sons Inc.

He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, which he built.

Ralph “Pap” loved to watch his grandchildrens’ sports and activities, especially football.  He was a highly respected builder and contractor in Blair County.

A private funeral Mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.  A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
