Ralph G. Campbell, 77, Hollidaysburg, died Friday at his residence.
He was born at home in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Ralph L. and Maude (Clapper) Campbell. In 1973 he married Margaret "Peggy" Piper.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years; four daughters: Sheri (Dave) Hoover in Florida, Cristy (Scott) Baker of Williamsburg, Robin (Robert) Speer in Texas and Jill (Gary Jr.) Claar of Puzzletown; a son, Shawn (Angie) Dodson of Blue Knob; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and a special nephew, Tommy.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Helen; two sisters: Maxine Snyder and Daisy McCoy; and six brothers: Carl, Donald, Charles, Floyd, Clayton and Ray.
He was a 1959 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired as a truck driver and then helped with the family business, Campbell's Sporting Goods. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg.
Ralph enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family.
Friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m., Pastor Paul Bottenfield officiating. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
