Richard B. Hartman, 84, of Spokane, WA., passed away Tuesday at Select Specialty Hospital, in Johnstown PA, surrounded by his family. He was born in Whittier, CA, son of the late Paul and Josephine (Young) Hartman.
Surviving are a daughter, Cathy Bell; two sons: Rex and Roy Hartman; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Paul Hartman.
He was a 1958 graduate of Artesia High School and was a truck driver for Ti-State Motor Transport for several years.
Richard enjoyed helping others, spending time with family, and learning new things.
He was such a sweet, kind, and generous man that would do whatever he could to help anyone that needed it. Whether it be a kind word of support, some encouragement, an ear to listen or a helping hand to lend, he was always there.
Richard will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
