Richard E. Lee

Richard E. Lee, 80, Duncansville, formerly of Lakemont, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. 

He was born at home in Lakemont, son of the late Joseph and Dollie (Fickes) Lee. He married Barbara A. Archey in 1958 and she preceded him in death in 2015.

Surviving are a daughter: Debra A. Lee of Duncansville; a son, Rick A. of Lakemont; two grandchildren: Jaime and Lindsay; two great-grandchildren: Joey and Nolan; two brothers: Daniel of East Freedom and Bob of Altoona; a special nephew, Brad; and a special friend, Donald French.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward.

Richard graduated from Altoona High School. He retired from Local 2274 as a carpenter for 50 years.

He was a member of Lakemont Church of God.

Richard enjoyed fixing things, being a handy-man and spending time with his family.
