Richard D. Patterson

Richard D. Patterson, 69, of Roaring Spring, passed away Wednesday at Midtown Oaks.  He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late George and G. Aileen (Black) Patterson.

Surviving are his soul mate, Brenda Horner; three daughters: Jennifer Hammel (TK), Brandy Locke (Lewis), Crystal Sankey (Dennis); two sons: Ryan (Ashley), and Jeff (Ashley); seven grandchildren; a sister, Gayla Patterson; a brother, Drew; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister, Susan Musselman, and a brother-in-law, Michael Musselman.

Rich graduated from Central High School in 1973 and retired from Roaring Spring Blank Book.

He was a member of Martinsburg Sportsmen’s Club.

Rich enjoyed target shooting, watching sports and YouTube, and listening to music.
