Richard "Ricky" M. Weigl Jr.

Richard M. “Ricky” Weigl Jr., 55, of Duncansville, passed away Thursday. He was born in Altoona, son of Roseanne (Moyer) and the late Richard Weigl Sr.

Surviving are two daughters: Shelby Bullers (Jimmy), and Harley Snyder (Matthew); a son, Lucas; four grandchildren: Alice, Gabriel, Sadie, and Brynleigh; his mother of Duncansville; two brothers: Michael and Andrew; and his loving girlfriend, Leah Latherow.

Ricky graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1989 and served in the US Army.  He worked for the Altoona School District.

Ricky enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling at the Bavarian, collecting comic books, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 11am to 1pm Monday, October 13, 2025 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc, Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 1pm, with Fr Allen P. Zeth officiating.

Private interment at St. Patrick Cemetery.
