Rick A. Wilt

July 14, 1952 – Sept. 20, 2024

Ricky A. Wilt, 72, of Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Philip E. and Hazel G. (Foor) Wilt.

Surviving are his wife of 10 years, Anna (Pirozzi); two daughters: Jennifer Wilt (Shawn Dugan) and Sarah Wilt (Stephen Martz); a son, Ryan Wilt (Lori); six grandchildren: Makenzie, Jacob, Tyler, Lukas, TeJ, and Ethan; great-grandchildren: Elsie and Greyson; and a brother, Mark Wilt. 

He was preceded by a sister, Cathy Howard.

Ricky was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Area High School, and retired from Benzel’s Pretzels in 2014.

He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, NASCAR, and spending time with his grandchildren.              

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
