Ricky A. Fogal Sr.

Ricky A. Fogal Sr., 71, of Altoona passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Harry and Eva (Elliot) Fogal. He married his high school sweetheart, Barbara “Penny” Brown in 1972.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years; a daughter, Tiffany Becher and husband, Joe; a son, Ricky- Jr. and wife, Dana; six grandchildren: Christopher, Megan, Katie, Hannah, Isabel, and Ricky III; five greatgrandchildren, who were the joy of his life: Eli, Emri, Mila, Emma, and Easton; a brother, William and wife, Pam; a brother in law, Rick Askey and wife, Kathy; a sister in law, Deborah; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry.

Ricky was a 1972 graduate of Altoona High School and retired from the PA Dept. of Agriculture as a supervisor of weight and measures.

He was a member of the Swiss Club in Altoona and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, gambling, and working.
