Robert Albright Obituary

Robert A. Albright, 86 of Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully Monday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Warren and Kathyrn (Denning) Albright. He married Eleanor F. Weyandt, who preceded him in death in 2011 after 54 years of marriage.
Surviving are four daughters: Roberta Crist and husband Ronald, Robin Barton and husband Fred, Rebecca Schmelzlen and husband Philip, Regina Murphy and husband Mike; three sons: Robert and wife Karen, Randy and wife Paula, Reynold and wife Donna; nine grandchildren: Justine, Tyler, Matthew, Connor, Nicholas, Nathan, Brandi, Blake, Bailey; and a brother, Ron. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald and Richard.
Robert graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1953 and served in the US Marine Corps. He retired from Appleton Papers in 1997.
Robert attended Grace Family Bible Church and enjoyed gardening and visiting Gettysburg.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4pm Sunday March 27, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service with Military Honors will be held at 11am Monday. Pastor Jim Zaebst officiating. Interment at McIntire Cemetery.
