Robert Chesney Obituary

Robert F. Chesney, 86, Altoona, died Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles F. and Queen (Dunlap) Chesney.

He married Shirley M. Burd in 1956, and she preceded him in death in 2016.

Surviving are two daughters: Cindy Hussain and Judy Weaver and husband,

Timothy; four grandchildren: Luis, Yasmeen, Syed and Christopher; a great-grandson, Abdul-Rahman; a brother, John; a sister-in-law, Cora Chesney; and nieces and nephews.

There will be no public service. Interment will be at Mooresville Cemetery, Petersburg.

Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
