Robert R. Conner Sr.

Nov 19, 1959 – Jan 6, 2026  

Robert R. Conner Sr., 66, of Hollidaysburg passed away on Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Richard E. Sr. and Eleanor Mae (Taylor) Conner. He married Cindy Jeffers in 1979. 

Surviving are his wife of 46 years; daughter Shannon Neeley (Dale); 8 grandchildren: William, Andraya, Colton, Cileah, Jevadie, Robert R. III, Kalona, and Zahla; and two sisters, Ann McConnell and Dawn Conner.  

He was preceded in death by his son Robert R. Jr. and two brothers, Richard and David Conner. 

Robert retired from Hollidaysburg Elementary School after many years of work. 

He enjoyed his Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State football as well as being outside and mowing the grass.  

Friends will be received on Monday January 12, 2026 from 3 to 5pm at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 5pm.   

Private Interment at Leamersville Riverview Cemetery.
