Robert J. Magdelinic, 75, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday at his residence. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Stephen and Mary (Lugar) Magdelinic. He married Connie Sharbaugh in 1968.
Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years; two sons: Rob (Becky) of Johnstown and Ron of Cranberry Twp.; two granddaughters: Taylor and Olivia; a sister, Loretta Keith in CA; a sister-in-law, Jean, of Davidsville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Steve and Anna Marie Koestler.
Bob graduated from Conemaugh Twp. High School in 1966 and retired from Johnstown Tribune Democrat after 29 years as a sales manager. He then worked at Scranton Times Tribune for six years, then worked at Fiore Buick as a sales manager, retiring in 2015.
He was very proud of his family, and he enjoyed attending his sons’ sporting events, working in the yard, and talking with people.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, with Father Alan E. Thomas, Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to: American Lung Association or St. Jude’s Hospital.
