Robert P. Davis, 73, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Fred and Elizabeth (Shelow) Davis. He married Joyce Cooper in 1983.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years; a daughter, Dr. Heather Beyer and her husband David; two granddaughters: Callahan and Addyson; a sister, Carol Reed and husband Jerry; two brothers: Bill and Gene and wife, Debby; and many nieces and nephews.
He attended Altoona High and served in the US Marines.
Bob worked as a bartender at Dick’s Café, Fry Metal as a machinist, and retired from Veeder Root.
He was a member of Frohsinn.
Bob enjoyed watching sports, especially Duke basketball, Penn State Football, the Steelers, and the Pirates. He also enjoyed the outdoors and fishing in Canda.
