June 10, 1945 – March 29, 2025

Robert D. Schoonover, 79, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born in Baltimore, MD, son of the late James and Bertha (Kelly) Schoonover. He married Katherine Stillman, who preceded him in death in 2021 after sharing 54 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Tina; a son, Michael and his wife, Charlene; two granddaughters: Miley and Jaylynn; a great-grandson, Taswell; and a brother, Barry Muir.
