Roger Leo Garman Sr., 80, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Friday of bladder cancer. He was the son of the late Harvey and Helen (Socie) Garman. He married Linda Saltsgiver on March 8, 1969.
Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years; three daughters, Gloria (Fred), Milinda (Troy), and Kathy (Bob); a son, Roger Jr. (Pam); grandchildren: Clifton (Kelsey), Adam (Alexis), Stephanie (Ryan), Damain (Sarah), Penelope, and Cameron; great-grandchildren: Aria and Brantley; two brothers: Harry and Steve; and four sisters: Betty, Nora, Judy, and Kathy.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly and a brother, Donald.
Roger worked for the Altoona Shoe Company for 7 years and retired from Berwind Railway Company Service as a stenciler/painter, after more than 35 years. He was a member of the Berean Baptist Church, Duncansville.
Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, and watching sports and the news. He also loved The Price is Right. Roger is now home in heaven.
Friends will be received from 10am to 12pm Tuesday November 9, 2021, at Berean Baptist Church, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12pm, Pastor Barry Fry officiating.
Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery.
