Ronald D. Anderson

February 14, 1948 – March 17, 2024           

Ronald D. Anderson, 76, of Duncansville, passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in York, son of the late W. Delmar and Viola (Wambaugh) Anderson. He married Margaret “Peggy” Grannas in 1970.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years; two sons: Todd and wife Michelle, and Troy and wife Stacy, all of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Catherine, Nathaniel, Dylan, and Jenna.

Ron graduated from West York HS and Shippensburg University where he earned his BA in Economics.

He served in the PA Army National Guard.  Ron worked at Butterick Co. for 29 years in the Credit Dept., then retired from the DPW as a case worker.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he served as Treasurer.

Ron enjoyed golf, bowling, and spending time with his family and yorkies.

Friends will be received 11am to 1pm Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm with Pastor Doug Pilot officiating.  

Private interment at Alto Reste Park.
