June 8, 1953 – June 1, 2024
Ronald D. “Ron” Imler, 70, of Duncansville, passed away Saturday after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late J. Robert and Binnie L. Imler. He married Gale Champ in 1984.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years; a son, Scott; and two brothers: Robert and Donald. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Vanatta.
Ron retired in 2010 from the Auto and RV service in the sales and parts department. He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Squadron 516, the Allegheny Club of Hollidaysburg, and the Bavarian Aid Society. Ron was also a life member of the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed time with his loving wife, camping, and deer hunting.
