Ronald L. Lockard Sr.

Sept 2, 1949 – March 20, 2026

Ronald L. Lockard Sr., 76, of Altoona, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Martha (Richards) Shaffer.  He married Carol Muir in 1976.         

Surviving are his wife of 50 years; three daughters: Sherry Stacey and husband Jeffrey, Patricia Walters, Letricia Blake and husband Geoff; two sons: Ronald Jr. and Doug and wife Natalie; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter; siblings: Rhonda Lockard and Roxanne Hillegas.

Ron graduated from Altoona High School in 1968 and retired as a mechanic.

He loved watching wrestling and listening to music.

Friends will be received from 2-4pm on Friday March 27, 2026 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will follow at 4pm.
