Rosemary (Eichenlaub) Richardson, 78, passed peacefully at her home on Monday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Ralph W. and Mary C. (Hoover) Eichenlaub.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah A. Sanders of Hollidaysburg; six grandchildren: Amber, Joshua, Travis, Shane, Mary, and Quincy; six great grandchildren; five siblings: Joan Hampton, Judy F. Fink (Darryl), Majorie A. Goodman (Donald), Valentine T. Eichenlaub, and Jeanie P. Klos (Arthur); an aunt, Olive Neterer; two sisters-in-law: Helen (Dee) Eichenlaub and Irene (Renie) Eichenlaub; and 20 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Randal Richardson, and siblings: Raymond, Ralph, Kenneth, and Duane Eichenlaub.
Rosemary was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School and worked a civil service career with the Naval Air Systems Command in Washington, D.C. After 38 years of dedicated government service, Rosemary retired as a Management Analyst on November 2, 2001.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Lakemont.
Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed family vacations at the beach, birdwatching, gardening and entertaining family and friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday, April 22, 2022, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lakemont with Msgr. Michael Becker, Celebrant. Committal at Calvary cemetery.
