Sandra "Soni" C. (Bryan) McClellan

Sandra “Soni” C. (Bryan) McClellan, 82, of Altoona, passed away Monday. She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Leitzel) Bryan. She married Donavon McClellan Sr. in 1960, who preceded her in death in 2021, after sharing 61 years of marriage.

Surviving are three sons: Don Jr. and wife Sally, Jim and wife Paula, Tim and wife Christina, all of Altoona; 9 grandchildren: Justin, Kira, Chelsea, Tyler, Dylan, Parker, Brandon, Ireland, and Erica; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon Patton and husband Gerry.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua.

Soni worked as a cook at Tyrone area schools and was a homemaker.

She was incredibly proud of her sons and grandchildren and loved supporting them through their athletic activities.
