Shawn L. Wert, 42, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday of natural causes. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Richard Stoops and Tina Wert. He married Stacy Litzinger in 2000.
Surviving are his wife of 21 years; two daughters: Kaitlyn and Madelyn at home; two sisters: Amber Bush and Amanda Owens; a brother, Philip Stoops; an uncle, Eric McKee; aunt, Judy Vaughan; and mother-in-law, Robin Litzinger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shawn graduated from Hollidaysburg Area HS in 1997. He loved spending time with his girls and was an avid fisherman with Capt. Ron Prisk at Lake Erie. Shawn enjoyed hunting and motorcycles.
Friends will be received from 1-3pm on Sunday, Aug 15, 2021 at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3pm.
