Sherry J. (Rajkov) Ahearn, 71, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (Groudi) Rajkov. She married Charles R. Ahearn Jr. in 1988.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years, and a daughter, Charlene Ahearn of Hollidaysburg.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Kathryn Pretta and Susan Rajkov.
Sherry graduated from Bishop Guilfoyle High School in 1968 and attended Adele Allan Beauty School in Altoona.
She was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, where she was part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
Sherry loved knitting and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7pm Monday June 6, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a Vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Fr. Alan E. Thomas, Celebrant.
Committal at New St. Mary Cemetery.
