Stanley R. Owen Sr., 93, of Altoona, passed away Thursday. He was born in Kansas City, son of the late Ernest and Maude (Watson) Owen. He married Alfreda Joy Cales in 1968. She preceded him in death in 1994, after sharing 25 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Shelley; two sons: Stanley Jr. and wife, Valerie and Roger and wife, Cristi; two step sons: Richard Cales and Robert Cales; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

There will be no public services at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Interment at Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery, Crownsville.
