Stephen J. Kopera, 68, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born in Patton, son of the late Stephen and Dorothy “Ducky” (Bott) Kopera. He married Kim in 1998.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years; a daughter, Kelcie Weaver (Steven) of Altoona; a son, Lisle Weaver (Hattie) of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren: Dominik and Carmella; two sisters: Barb Fogle and Patty Bender; a brother, Duane; and the Montrose Ave family.
Steve enjoyed playing football with Dom, listening to rock and roll, and hunting.
He will be fondly remembered as “Honey” and friends and family will remember his sage advice of “Be careful”.
