Stephen Selwitz Obituary
Stephen "Cristy" Selwitz, 73, Duncansville, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Hugh P. and Zennith (Stouffer) Selwitz. He married Arlene Landis in 1965. Surviving are his wife of 54 years; a daughter, Stephanie Price of Duncansville; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gary of Duncansville.
Cristy was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth; a grandson, JW; a great-granddaughter, Bailey; and a sister, Becky Lanzendorfer.
He retired from Fry Metals after 30 years as a machinist and was a proud life member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and golfing with his family and best friend, Bob.
At Cristy's request, there will be no public service. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
