Sue A. (Miller) Snyder, 71, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord after an extended illness on Thursday. She was born in Altoona, and raised by her adoptive mother, Helen Johnson. She married Stan Snyder on March 7, 2003.
Surviving are her husband, Stan; a niece, Bobbi Shultz, whom she raised; Bobbi’s children: Nate Black (Alexis) and Brianna Black; two stepchildren: Christy Shingleton (Steve) and Joe (Sabrina); six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Sue Johnson; a brother-in-law, Ron Salsgiver; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, Charlie Johnson; and a sister, Karen Salsgiver.
Sue graduated from Bellwood-Antis High School in 1970.
Although she suffered most of her life with R.A. she was always positive and upbeat. Sue enjoyed her work as a Lifetouch church consultant for many years. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Special thank you to the excellent staff at UPMC Family Hospice.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6pm Tuesday February 13, 2024, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6pm.
