Susan D. (Marvin) Melanson, 64, of Alexandria, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Groton, MA, daughter of the late Gerald and Pauline (Hendrickson) Marvin.
Surviving are five daughters: Jennifer, Mary Lapp, Jessica, Moriah, and Ivy; eight sons: Justin, Ryan, Aaron, Andre, Mark, Josiah, Elias, Zachariah; and many grandchildren.
Susan was a published poet and enjoyed decorating

Interment at Shavers Creek Cemetery.
