Telford W. Evans, 73, of Johnstown passed away Saturday. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Paul and Jean (Rainey) Evans.
Surviving are his daughter, Jill Evans; a son, Brian (Mirka); and a grandson, Desmond.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Doreen Boring.
Telford was a mechanic and retired from Auto Zone.
He helped start the Altoona Soccer Club and was involved in the Red Ribbon Campaign of Blair County.
Telford loved the woods, soccer, poetry, Celtic music, and the cosmos.
