Terry L. Becker

Terry L. Becker Sr., 63, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Erie, son of the late Frederick L. and Marjorie (Brubaker) Becker. He first married Shirley Kochinsky, who preceded him in death. He then married Gloria Metz in 2002.

Surviving are his wife of 18 years; a daughter, Brittany (Brandon) of Altoona; a son, Terry Jr. in OH; a step daughter, Kathryn Campbell (Adam) of Hollidaysburg; a step-son, Paul Belicic (Erin) of Hollidaysburg; 7 grandchildren: Madison, Macie, Connor, Wyatt, Kloee, Isabella, and Lucy; a sister, Lori Little (Kyle); three brothers: Frederick (Donna), Mark (Debbie), Barry (Sandy); and his step-mother, Suzy Becker.He was preceded in death by a brother, David Sr., and a nephew, David Jr.

Terry was a 1974 graduate of Altoona High School. He was a manager at the former Red Barn Restaurant, then was a truck driver for many years. He owned Mr. T’s Chicken & Subs and was an active Church member. Terry enjoyed sleep-overs with the grand-children, camping, yearly trips to Myrtle Beach, and playing with his dogs: Jake, Marley, Tucker, Roxy, and Jackson. 

His grandchildren were his pride and joy. They enjoyed crafts with Pappy.

Terry had many friends and was a very generous man. He will be sorely missed by everyone.
