April 27, 1932 – March 2, 2023
Thomas L. Sutch, 90, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday at Celebration Villa at Shippensburg. He was born in Duncansville, son of the late Joseph and Madeline (Costlow) Sutch. He married Julia “Judy” Hitchings in 1953.
Surviving are his wife of 70 years; three daughters: Terrie Sutch (Mitch), Bonnie Ciserano, and PJ McGuigan (Jack); three sons: Tom, Mike, and Jim (Carole); seven grandchildren: Dominick, Julia, Jimmy, Joey, Johnny, Brian, Willy, and six great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Tom graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1950 and served in the US Army during Korea. He retired from Phillips as an electrical engineer.
Tom was a member of Knights of Columbus Star of the Sea Council 4245, and was active in the community.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where served in the choir and on the Greenlawn Cemetery Committee.
Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am Wednesday March 8, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Private committal at Greenlawn Cemetery.
