Timothy Levan Galbraith

June 26, 1956 – Jan 28, 2023

We are devastated to announce the passing of Timothy Levan Galbraith, 66, of Hollidaysburg, Pa. Surrounded by his family at home, he left us on January 28, 2023, following a heroic decade combating cancer. His significance within the community, along with his generosity and unending optimism, met no bounds.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and his eldest son. Tim is survived by a full and loving family along with many friends who are honored to be a part of his extraordinary and compassionate life. 

Born June 26, 1956, his early years were spent on the family farm in Newry, Pa where his passion for the outdoors were seeded. After graduating from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1974, he pursued his forestry degree at Penn State Mont Alto. Following college, he began a summer job at Blair County Beverage, and the rest became the history as we know it. 

Tim’s most important key to life was a tasty beer, good music, and tinkering with his vast collection of farming equipment. The garden was his sanctuary, and “nothing beats a homegrown tomato.” 

Friends will be received from noon to 4pm Wednesday February 1, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
