Violet Campbell Obituary

Violet P. (Patterson) Campbell, 100, Altoona, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles T. and Elnora (Hughes) Patterson. She married Earl E. Campbell and he preceded her in death in 1984.

Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Campbell and wife, Rosemarie, of Hollidaysburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Violet loved crocheting and playing the guitar and accordion.

Friends will be received from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
