Virginia A. (Hale) Defibaugh, 96, of Altoona, passed away Sunday. She was born in Spring Meadow, daughter of the late Sylvester and Susanna (Feichter) Hale. She married Don Defibaugh, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Eichenlaub; a son, Lawrence “Bud” Peck Jr. and wife, Jean; seven grandchildren: Lori (Matt), Valarie (Steve), Brian (Hollie), Darlie, Guy (Bailey), Wyatt, and Jay; five great grandchildren: Haleigh, Colin, Sierra, Drake, and Grant; and a special nephew, Stan, and wife Ann.

Virginia devoted her life to her family.

All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.
