April 16, 1965 - Dec 4, 2025
Wendy Ann (Ingram) O’Rorke, of Altoona, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 4th. She was born on April 16th, 1965, daughter of the late Richard C. and Shirley A. (Price) Ingram. She was a 1983 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School.
Surviving are her loving husband of 28 years, Kevin J. O’Rorke, and mother-in-law Mary Hartsock; her beloved son Harry Harr and wife Julie; three brothers, Richard B. and wife Tina, Ronald P. and wife Yvonne and Barry A. and partner Tonya; as well as four grandchildren, Dahlia, Evie, Marley, and Carter.
Wendy recently retired from the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home after 34 years of service.
She was the heart of our family, a devoted wife, a loving mom, and an adoring grandmother who cherished every moment with her husband, son, grandkids, and friends. Known as the ultimate yard-sale enthusiast, she had a gift for finding treasure and joy in the simplest things. She loved cooking meals that brought everyone together, crafting, and reading. She was the foundation that held us all together; always steady, always supportive.
In her well-earned retirement, she embraced life fully; traveling, bowling, and getting out to enjoy every day. Her spirit was warm, fun, and unforgettable, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will carry on forever.
Friends will be received on December 9, 2025 from 1pm to 5pm, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc, Hollidaysburg.
A funeral service and interment will be held privately for the family.
