Wilbur K. Henry

Wilbur K. Henry, 79, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at his residence. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Carter and Bessie (Mosey) Henry. He married Evelyn Dalby in 1963.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years; a niece, Cierra Thompson of Hollidaysburg; a nephew, Michael Dalby of Altoona; a sister, Donna Hammers; and numerous nieces and nephews.          

He graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1961. Wilbur retired from Juniata Fabric as an electrician after 42 years. He was the proprietor of Chimney Rocks Animal Rest.        

Wilbur was a 4th degree Knight in the Star of the Sea Council 4245. He formerly attended Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church.                  

Wilbur enjoyed woodworking, gardening, camping at Woodland Park, attending craft shows, and spending time with his family and friends.    

Friends will be received from 4 to 6pm Thursday June 2, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6pm.           

Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
