William C. LaHive, 72, of Altoona, passed away Monday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald and Arlene (Henry) LaHive. He married Cecelia Hoefler in 1986.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years; a sister, Barbara Benson; a niece, Sherri; a nephew, John Jr; and all of his friends at Mike’s Court.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Kathy.
William graduated from Altoona High School in 1969 and PSU with an AS in Business Administration.
He worked as a driver for Strohman Bakery and retired as an exterminator from Robert’s Pest Control.
Wiliam was a member of the Buccinese Society, Bavarian Aid Society, and Bethany Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, and hunting with his friends in Mahaffey. He enjoyed spending time with his pets, Cami and Marley.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Tuesday August 8th, 2023, at Bethany Lutheran Church. Cremation service by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc.
